Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Finance Manager manages the comprehensive financial operations of Heal Africa Health City and its diverse business units. Operating full-time at the Torhayloch compound and reporting to the Deputy CEO of Corporate Support Services, the role oversees budgeting, financial reporting, cash-flow planning, internal financial controls, tax compliance, and finance team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the financial operations of the company and its various business units.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash-flow plans.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and management accounts.
• Monitor income, expenses, receivables, payables, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure proper accounting records and compliance with applicable financial policies and regulations.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Analyze financial results and provide management with strategic recommendations for improved performance.
• Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls and procedures.
• Support business units in financial planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
• Supervise and support finance and accounting staff members.
• Ensure the proper use and stewardship of company financial resources.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: MBA in Accounting and Finance or Management, OR BA in Accounting and Finance or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience for Master's degree holders, or 5 years for BA holders, preferably within an organization managing multiple business units.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
