Job Summary

Kaliti Food S.C. is seeking a Senior Electrician to maintain, diagnose, and repair industrial production machinery, automation systems, and electrical power networks within its food processing facility. The role involves PLC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and strict adherence to food safety and electrical compliance standards to minimize production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across processing lines, packaging machines, motors, sensors, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and instrumentation loops.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance checks and servicing schedules to minimize unexpected downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, permit systems, and food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO guidelines.
• Commission new electrical panels, wiring, and machinery upgrades while mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Education: Advanced Diploma or TVET Level IV/V in Electrical Technology.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably within a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing plant.

Required Skills

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics, handling high/low voltage systems, working with industrial control networks, and PLC troubleshooting.
