Job Summary

This leadership role drives commercial growth, operational excellence, and team development within Jotun Ethiopia Paint Manufacturing PLC. The position requires spearheading manufacturing operations, optimizing production efficiency, seizing commercial opportunities, and leading high-performing technical and operational teams in alignment with the company's core values and market expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational & Production Leadership: Oversee manufacturing plant operations, ensure high-quality output, and execute strategic production plans with commitment and determination.
• Commercial Growth & Strategy: Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities to drive profitability and strengthen Jotun's market position in Ethiopia and East Africa.
• Team Empowerment & Coaching: Provide a clear sense of direction, inspire and coordinate staff, and foster professional development through delegation, empowerment, and coaching.
• Problem Solving & Decision Making: Rapidly analyze complex operational issues and deliver sound, rational judgments to maintain smooth plant workflows.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: BA Degree in any field of study, or a BSc in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience managing teams within the manufacturing sector.
