WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST

Warehouse Specialist are generally responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. Warehouse Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of the work and maximizing productivity of our warehouse.

Position in the Organization:

S/he directly to the Store and Material Control Manager. Will be working alongside Purchase and Logistics Supervisor.

Duty and Responsibilities:

1. Accurately pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations
2. Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner
3. Effectively communicate with associates and display teamwork in completing task assignments
4. Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
5. Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas
6. Accurately sort, label, and store picked product safely in containers or on pallet
7. Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management
8. Perform all job duties in accordance with standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization
9. Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area
10. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
11. Verify markings and assigned numbers on materials and items.
12. Prepare and verify shipping documents.
13. Check quality and condition of items before entering and while in warehouse.
14. Keep the warehouse premises clean and neat.
15. Perform physical verification of inventory.
16. Maintain, manage and update inventory controls.
17. Implement safety procedures and standards in a warehouse.
18. Design and implement best practices in warehouse operations.

 Authorities:

His/her authorities are limited to the given Site. S/he is needed to report all the duties that s/he is in charge of to his/her direct line manager approvals. S/he does not have employees working under his/her authority.
