Position : Junior Customer Service Officer

Education: First Degree in Business Administration and information system (BAIS) is advantageous and First Degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or related fields with training or certification in MIS, IT or related.

Experience: No prior experience required (Fresh Graduate).

Other Requirements: Basic knowledge of banking operations, strong interpersonal skills, presentable appearance, team-oriented mindset, and adherence to NBE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Handling account openings, maintaining customer registers, and managing document custody.

Processing counter transactions, cheque deposits, and returned cheques.

Assisting Senior CSOs with back-office operations, daily reconciliations (ATM/POS/Merchant/Branch books), and clearing suspense accounts.

Promoting bank products, services, and alternative digital channels.

Supporting deposit mobilization, recruiting new clients, and building relationships with merchants and agents.

Responding to customer inquiries while adhering to service quality standards and balance confidentiality.

Location: Under Adama District – for Chiro Branch
