Sales & Product Promoter

Job Summary

AL-MAHI Trading PLC is seeking a motivated Sales & Product Promoter to drive the promotion and distribution of consumer health, pharmaceutical, and nutritional products in Dire Dawa and surrounding areas. The role involves visiting healthcare facilities and pharmacies, building customer relationships, expanding market coverage, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell AL-MAHI's pharmaceutical, nutritional, and related product lines.
• Conduct regular visits to pharmacies, drug shops, health facilities, and retailers within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
• Deliver accurate product information and professional presentations.
• Achieve established monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Identify new customers, retail outlets, and business expansion opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and activities, and customer feedback.
• Follow up closely on customer orders, deliveries, and stock availability.
• Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and marketing activities.
• Prepare regular sales, customer-visit, and market reports while maintaining accurate records.
• Represent AL-MAHI Trading PLC professionally across the territory.

Qualifications

• Education: BSc in Pharmacy or BSc in Nutrition from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical sales, nutrition product sales, medical/product promotion, pharmacy-related sales, FMCG, or a similar commercial role.

• Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, strong Excel proficiency), reporting skills, and product presentation capabilities.
