Sales Officer

Job Summary

AL-MAHI Trading PLC is seeking a motivated and target-oriented Sales Officer to expand market coverage, manage client relationships, drive product sales, and achieve assigned targets across Addis Ababa.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company's product portfolio to existing and potential customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and business partners.
• Identify new customers, retail outlets, and business expansion opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits and follow up proactively on sales opportunities.
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Receive, process, and follow up on customer orders.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
• Ensure proper product presentation, merchandising, and availability at customer outlets.
• Collect and communicate valuable customer feedback to management.
• Prepare regular sales and customer activity reports while maintaining accurate records.
• Resolve outstanding customer issues in a timely manner and support promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Previous experience in sales is preferred (experience in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, or distribution is a strong advantage). Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales potential are also encouraged to apply.
