Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees the production and assembly processes to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and safety. The role involves leading the production team, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, monitoring KPIs, resolving operational bottlenecks, and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise, coach, and train production staff, manage onboarding, and create targeted development plans to boost efficiency.
• Policy Enforcement & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company attendance policies, labor laws, and regulatory standards.
• Production Planning & Inventory: Coordinate schedules, verify raw material availability, manage material flow, and oversee inventory accuracy and final product dispatch.
• KPI & Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics such as OEE, TEEP, MTBF, MTTR, and Preventive Maintenance Plans (PMP).
• Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks, perform root cause analyses (e.g., 5 Whys, FMEA), and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Enforce safety, quality, and GMP standards across all production lines.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience working as an Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineer.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Deep working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and GMP.
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, decision-making, and communication skills.
