Job Summary

The Procurement Associate supports daily purchasing activities to ensure goods, services, and subcontracts are acquired transparently, cost effectively, and on schedule while strictly adhering to BWA’s procurement guidelines and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Requisition: Review department purchase requisitions for specs and budget approvals, prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate vendor bids, and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
• Vendor Management: Maintain and update an approved vendor database, monitor delivery timelines, conduct local market surveys, and resolve supplier issues.
• Receiving & Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse staff to verify delivered goods against POs and negotiate replacements or fixes for damaged/defective items.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain complete audit ready records (requisitions, price comparisons, POs, GRNs), match supplier invoices with delivery notes for Finance processing, and prepare regular activity reports.
