Mid-Level Architect

Romel General Trading PLC is seeking a Mid-Level Architect to handle architectural design, 3D visualization, building finishing-material sourcing, technical documentation, and project coordination. Reporting to the Architect Senior Division Manager, the incumbent will bridge design and procurement by working closely with internal teams and Chinese suppliers from initial BOQs and concept through order delivery.

• Prepare comprehensive architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and shop drawings.
• Develop 3D models, interior/exterior designs, and realistic renderings.
• Review client drawings and BOQs to extract relevant technical data.
• Prepare Excel documentation for quantities, material schedules, quotations, comparisons, and project tracking.
• Draft detailed material specifications and technical submittals.
• Select and recommend suitable building finishing materials aligned with design, quality, and budgetary requirements.
• Coordinate with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers regarding drawings, technical specifications, quantities, samples, and pricing.
• Review supplier quotations and prepare product comparison sheets and presentations.
• Support client meetings, technical discussions, and material presentations.
• Track projects from initial inquiry through approval, ordering, production, and final delivery.
• Coordinate seamlessly with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams while maintaining robust documentation.

• Educational Background: BSc Degree in Architecture.
• Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience as a mid-level architect.

• Strong architectural design, technical drawing, and construction detail knowledge.
• Solid understanding of building finishing materials and material sourcing.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Competency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, Enscape, Photoshop).
• Good written and spoken English with exceptional communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet strict deadlines.
