Job Summary

The Junior Software Developer / Engineer contributes to the development, scaling, and security enhancement of AfroReach's live flagship products and new software solutions. Operating within a collaborative technical team, the role offers direct mentorship from senior software engineers to build impactful applications used by hundreds of businesses daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on real-world software products that are already live and serving hundreds of businesses.
• Collaborate closely with senior developers to design, build, and maintain software systems.
• Improve existing features, scale system architecture, and enhance application security.
• Contribute original ideas, test proposed solutions, and help ship valuable product updates.
• Engage with new projects from inception as an active member of the engineering team.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges, experiment with new tools, and document development insights.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Open to recent graduates or individuals with some professional software development experience. Portfolio of past personal, academic, or professional projects required.
