Heavy Truck Mechanic

Job Summary

CoBuilt Solutions is seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic to perform skilled mechanical work in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and transport vehicles. The role ensures that the fleet operates safely and efficiently with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in heavy trucks using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system tune-ups.
• Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspensions, and steering assemblies.
• Inspect vehicle parts and components for wear and tear, replacing defective parts as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, parts used, and servicing dates.
• Ensure all repair work complies with safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Respond to roadside breakdowns and field repair calls when required.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate or higher in Automotive, Heavy Truck Maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in heavy truck repair and maintenance.
