Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the annual calendar, phased to the Ethiopian trading and festival cycle, including the holiday peaks and the fasting periods when activity is suspended.
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate sponsorship properties and event opportunities against brand fit, reach and cost.
- Deliver events end to end — concept, permits, venue, production, staffing, stock, safety and teardown — through the Event Leads and third-party agencies.
- Ensure every sponsorship right acquired is actually used, and that brand presence at each property meets the agreed standard.
- Ensure every event and sponsorship complies with Ethiopian law on alcohol marketing, including age controls, and carries the responsible consumption message.
- Manage the events and sponsorship budget, control agency and supplier costs, and reconcile spend to activity.
- Evaluate each event and sponsorship against reach, trial, engagement and cost, and report the result.
