Driver Onboarding & Engagement LeadJob Title: Driver Onboarding & Engagement LeadLocation: Addis Ababa, EthiopiaAbout the JobThe Driver Onboarding & Engagement Lead builds and executes end-to-end recruitment, vetting, document verification, and initial training pipelines for independent ride-hailing drivers, e-mobility riders, and courier partners. This role ensures rapid fleet growth while maintaining compliance, safety standards, and driver satisfaction across onboarding touchpoints.Key Responsibilities
- Funnel & Field Recruitment: Drive driver supply growth across ride-hailing and delivery verticals through targeted field sign-ups, hub activations, and referral programs.
- Verification & Compliance Audit: Validate driving licenses, criminal background checks, vehicle insurance, and registration documents against national regulatory standards.
- Driver Training & Activation: Facilitate onboarding orientation covering platform app usage, service standards, navigation tools, customer relations, and hotline support procedures via #8811.
- Lifecycle & Retention Engagement: Monitor driver drop-off rates, manage early-stage performance incentives, and address driver queries to boost 30-day retention.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Experience: 2–4 years in supply acquisition, driver operations, field agent management, or driver onboarding within ride-hailing and mobility platforms (e.g., Yango, Ride, Feres, or equivalent systems).
- Skills: High-volume funnel management, document verification accuracy, strong interpersonal and training abilities, fluency in Amharic and English. or any
