Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO)

Job Summary

The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) provides executive leadership across East African Holding’s entire supply chain ecosystem, encompassing local and international procurement, warehousing, and inbound/outbound logistics. The role shapes the Group’s corporate supply chain strategy, drives standardization and operational excellence across subsidiaries, and ensures cost efficiency and alignment with overall business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Governance: Design and implement integrated supply chain strategies, establishing unified policies, standards, and best practices across all Group subsidiaries.
• Procurement & Strategic Sourcing: Oversee local and international purchasing operations, negotiate high-value contracts, ensure transparent compliance, and mitigate supply market risks.
• Warehousing Management: Direct warehouse operations to guarantee optimal inventory accuracy, safety, cost control, and standardized inventory practices.
• Logistics & Distribution: Manage inbound and outbound transportation networks, optimize distribution channels, and ensure regulatory and sustainability compliance.
• Group Support & Talent Development: Mentor executive teams across subsidiaries, foster a high-performance culture of accountability and innovation, and spearhead leadership succession planning.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive professional experience in supply chain leadership, including senior-level exposure to procurement, warehousing, and logistics within complex multi-subsidiary environments.
