Branch Accountant

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a related field with  0 years  of relevant work experience;  OR

College Diploma (Level IV/10+3) in Accounting or a related field with  2 years  of relevant work experience.

Experience in a Microfinance Institution (MFI) is an added advantage.

Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and computer applications.

Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree holders:  0 years  of relevant work experience.

College Diploma (Level IV/10+3) holders:  2 years  of relevant work experience.

Experience in a Microfinance Institution (MFI) is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.

Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations.

Process payments and receipts in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Support branch operations and maintain proper financial documentation.
