Lion Insurance Company (S.C.) intends to sell, through competitive tender, various heavy and light vehicles damaged by conflict and turnover accidents, as well as various properties (converted) and vehicle spare parts. Interested bidders may inspect the assets at the damaged vehicle storage site (located to the left after entering Kaliti Korki Factory) starting from Pagume 2, 2018 E.C. during working hours. Tender documents can be purchased from the head office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (before VAT). Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the designated box at the Cash Department of the head office until Meskerem 8, 2019 E.C. at 11:00 AM. The bid bond is 20% of the starting price, or Birr 1,000 for items with a starting price below Birr 4,000, payable via bank CPO. Bids will be opened on Meskerem 9, 2019 E.C. at 3:00 AM (local time) at the company's meeting hall. Winners must pay the full amount within 5 days; if not collected within 10 days after payment, a daily storage fee of Birr 100 will be charged. Transfer and other costs are the winner's responsibility. The company reserves the right to cancel the tender partially or entirely.
