DMC Construction PLC wishes to sell various construction leftover materials from its ongoing projects, namely leftover bitumen barrels used for asphalt work and cement bags, through an open bid. Organizations interested in participating in the bid must fulfill the requirements of a renewed business license for the year 2018 E.C. from the relevant government body, taxpayer identification number (TIN), evidence of being a VAT payer, and a tax clearance certificate. Location of the assets: The bitumen barrels are located in Amhara National Regional State, West Gojjam Zone, Sekela Woreda, at the company's road project camp. The cement bags are located in Addis Ababa City, Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-city, Lebu Mebrat Hail, inside DMC Real Estate compound. Bidders must deposit a bid bond of 10% of the total price of the items they intend to purchase in the name of DMC Construction PLC via a prepared P.O. Bidders will cover the transportation, loading, and unloading costs of the purchased assets themselves. Bidders can submit the price they are willing to buy the used items for by filling out the prepared price submission form, attaching it with the bid bond P.O., placing it in a sealed envelope, and submitting it to the bid box prepared for the bid at the company's head office located at Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-city, Lebu Mebrat Hail, DMC Real Estate Building, 10th floor, Chief Executive Officer's office, every working day from the date the advertisement is published in the newspaper until September 12, 2019 E.C. at 8:00 AM. The bid will be opened on September 12, 2019 E.C. at 8:30 AM at the company's head office located at Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-city, Lebu Mebrat Hail, DMC Real Estate Building, 10th floor, Chief Executive Officer's office, in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives. One bidder can compete for both or one of the two assets.
