Dashen Bank S.C. invites bidders to participate in a first-round public auction for the sale of used fixed assets in their current condition and location. Bidders may obtain the bid document containing the tender information, instructions to bidders, and price submission form from the Bank's Property Inventory and Distribution Department, located on the 3rd floor of the Bank's building in the Qera area, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00. After purchasing the document, bidders may inspect the assets offered for sale at the Bank's warehouses and locations on any working day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM starting from the date of this announcement. Bidders must submit a bid security of 20% of the total price offered for each category, in the form of a bank-confirmed CPO, attached to the bid document and placed in a sealed envelope, into the bid box prepared for this purpose at the Bank's Property Inventory and Distribution Department before the bid closing time. The evaluation criteria are price, a complete bid security (CPO), and fulfillment of the requirements stated in the document. A bidder who fails to provide the bid security specified in item 4 above or fails to meet other requirements in the document will be disqualified. If the CPO is issued outside Addis Ababa, it must be from Dashen Bank S.C. branches only. The bid box will remain open for 10 consecutive working days from the date the bid is published in the newspaper, and will be closed on the 10th day, i.e., Meskerem 21, 2019 E.C. at 6:00 PM, and opened on the same day at 9:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at the Bank's Property Inventory and Distribution meeting hall. The absence of a bidder at the opening does not prevent the opening. Winning bidders must, within 2 consecutive working days after 3 consecutive working days from the date the list of winners is posted on the notice board, submit a contract security of 10% of the contract price, sign a contract with the Bank, and pay the full winning price. Bidders must remove the won assets at their own expense within 10 working days after signing the contract.
