Awash Bank S.C. wishes to sell the assets listed in the table below through a public auction. To obtain detailed information about the auction, bidders can purchase the bid document for a non-refundable fee of 200.00 Birr (Two Hundred) by depositing it in the name of the bidder at any Awash Bank branch, account number 01540000544500, and presenting the receipt at Awash Bank Balcha Safo Building, 2nd floor, Office of Building and Foreclosed Assets Management, Office No. 1-08, located in Addis Ababa, Lideta, in front of Lideta Church. The bid document can be collected from the date the auction is published in the Reporter Newspaper until Meskerem 27, 2019 E.C. at 11:00 AM. The starting prices and other information are indicated in the bid document. Each bidder must prepare a CPO (Certified Payment Order) for 1/4 (one-fourth) of the starting price of the asset they are bidding for, made in the name of Awash Bank S.C., fill out the form in the bid document, and submit it in a sealed envelope from 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM on Meskerem 28, 2019 E.C. into the box prepared for the auction at Awash Bank Head Office, 12th floor, Procurement and Supply Directorate Office. The auction will be opened on Meskerem 28, 2019 E.C. at 4:15 AM in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at Awash Bank Head Office, 12th floor, Procurement and Supply Directorate Office. Bid documents submitted after the closing date and time, or without a CPO, will not be accepted. The winners of the auction are obligated to pay Value Added Tax (VAT), name transfer, and related government expenses on the total winning price. The winners must pay the total winning price in full and take delivery of the asset within 15 (fifteen) consecutive working days from the date their winning is communicated by letter. If they fail to pay and take delivery within the specified time, the auction will be cancelled and the deposited money will be forfeited to the bank. The bank reserves the right to cancel the auction in whole or in part if it finds a better alternative.
