Bid No. ጨ002/18 Al-Sam Group invites bids for the sale of 2 (two) used vehicles in their current condition. Bidders who wish to inspect the vehicles can purchase the bid document for a non-refundable 500.00 Birr (five hundred Birr) from the Property and Facility Department. The vehicles can be inspected at the Mexico Al-Sam Chelelek compound, Property and Facility Department office, during working hours for 10 (ten) consecutive working days from the date of this advertisement. Bidders must write their offered price in both figures and words after inspecting the vehicles. However, if there is a discrepancy between the price written in words and figures, the office will accept the higher price and evaluate the bid accordingly. Bidders must fill out the bid document, including the purchase price plus VAT (15%), on the bid price submission form and submit it in a sealed envelope to the Mexico Al-Sam Chelelek compound, Property and Facility Department office, within 10 (ten) consecutive working days from the date this advertisement is published in the Reporter newspaper, starting from 03/01/2019 E.C., by depositing it in the bid box prepared for this purpose. The bid will be closed on Meskerem 14, 2019 E.C. at 4:00 AM and opened at 4:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at the Mexico Al-Sam Chelelek office. Offering a price after other bidders have submitted their prices is not acceptable. Bidders must deposit 20% (twenty percent) of their bid price as a CPO. The CPO must be submitted together with the bid document in a sealed envelope. The money held as bid security will be fully refunded to unsuccessful bidders, but for successful bidders, it will be considered as part of the purchase price. The winning bidder will fully cover the transfer costs after the bid. Winners must pay and collect their property within three (3) consecutive working days from the date the bid result is announced. If they fail to collect, the bid result will be canceled and the money deposited as bid security will be forfeited to the seller. Any government debt, if any, will be paid by the seller. The company reserves the right to cancel the bid in whole or in part if it finds a better option.
