Abyssinia Bank S.C., under the authority granted by Proclamation No. 97/1990 (as amended), invites public auction for the sale of the properties listed in the schedule, in their current condition. Bidders or their legal representatives may participate by depositing 1/4 (one-fourth) of the starting price as a bid bond, via a bank-guaranteed cheque or CPO in the name of Abyssinia Bank S.C. The winning bidder must pay the total price in full within 15 days from the date of notification of award and take possession of the property. If full payment is not made within this period, the auction will be cancelled and the deposited amount will be forfeited to the bank. CPOs of unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The debtor/pledgor may be present at the auction venue on the date and time of the auction; however, if absent, the auction will proceed without them. The winning bidder shall bear all government payments related to the purchased property, as well as any costs related to title transfer. Any outstanding lease payments will be settled by the bank, while remaining lease obligations will be transferred to the winner/buyer. The winning bidder must appear before the city or district administration where the property is located and pay all applicable fees, taxes, and duties. Winners shall also pay 15% VAT, if applicable.
