Washington Health Care facilities (WHC) are specialized secondary care health facilities managed and staffed by Ethiopian, American, and other doctors of foreign nationalities who are committed to providing quality and affordable healthcare for all.
The healthcare centers are established under Washington Healthcare (subsidiary company, Washington Healthcare limited liability company (LLC) in Washington D. C., United States of America). It offers a range of specialty medical services for its clients in Ethiopia and beyond.
Position: Junior Nurse Professional
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Valid nursing license/registration to practice.
Prior Work Experience
0–2 years of professional nursing experience.
Clinical internship or previous hospital experience is an advantage.
Job Knowledge
Basic knowledge of nursing principles, patient assessment, and nursing care procedures.
Knowledge of medication administration and clinical documentation standards.
Understanding of infection prevention and control practices and patient safety standards.
Familiarity with basic emergency response procedures and standard medical equipment.
Knowledge of hospital policies, nursing ethics, and quality of care standards.
Skills and Abilities
Strong clinical and patient care skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing clinical situations.
Commitment to professionalism, patient-centered care, and continuous learning.
