Position: Entry-Level Construction

Position Overview

This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity designed for recent Civil Engineering graduates seeking hands-on exposure to U.S. construction estimating practices, quantity takeoffs, and project bidding.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:  Bachelor's degree in  Civil Engineering ONLY

Graduation Year:  Must be a  2018 Ethiopian Calendar (E.C.) graduate

Technical Knowledge:  Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, materials, and methods

Skills:  Strong numerical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency with computers

Communication:  Solid written and spoken English communication skills

Workstation Requirements:

Personal, reliable computer suitable for daily work

High-speed, stable internet connection

Quiet, dedicated home workspace

Key Responsibilities

Review construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications

Assist in performing quantity takeoffs and material counts

Identify and organize material and equipment requirements

Request, compile, and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

Draft basic cost estimates and client proposals

Assist senior estimators with complete bid preparation packages

Maintain structured estimating files, databases, and project records

Location:  Remote – Ethiopia

Work Hours:  Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Ethiopia Local Time)
