Position: Civil / Structural Design Engineer
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field .
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering/design.
Practical experience in both steel and reinforced concrete structural design/modeling .
Strong experience in preparing structural detailing and construction drawings .
Proficiency in Auto CAD and relevant structural design/modeling software.
Ability to interpret structural calculations and develop accurate construction drawings.
Architectural design/drafting experience or exposure is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for structural modelling, design development, and preparation of construction/detailing drawings for steel and reinforced concrete (RC) structures , particularly within industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review structural analysis and design models for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Prepare structural construction and detailing drawings based on approved design calculations and models.
Work on industrial structures including steel frames, RC structures, equipment foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, and industrial buildings .
Coordinate structural designs and drawings with architectural, piping, and other engineering disciplines.
Revise drawings and models based on project requirements and technical reviews.
Ensure structural documentation complies with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Participate in technical coordination and design review meetings.
