ANTA is a well-established Ethiopian company with over three decades of dedicated experience in the manufacturing industry. Specializing in medium and heavy-duty vehicle bodies. Position Title: Senior General AccountantDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Prepare, review, and file all statutory tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax) in full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws.
- Monitor accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), vendor invoicing, and cash flows
- Evaluate current accounting workflows and design efficiencies to minimize financial risks and improve productivity.
- Interface directly with revenue authorities, banks, and external regulatory bodies.
- ERP Proficiency: Deep experience with manufacturing-focused ERP systems
