Senior Attorney

Essential Function

Prepares statements of claim and defiance, declaration for affidavit and memorandum of appeal and reports the court proceeding in the form prepared for that purpose;

Attends court cases of the bank and ensures those summonses are served to defendants;

Initiates process of execution of judgments and follows up cases decided in favor of the bank;

Examining defaulting borrowers files referred, request and obtains updates statement of account and

documents;

Prepare legal notice to borrowers/mortgagers/pledgers and follow up whether it is served or not;

Performs other related duties as required.

Job  Requirement

Education : Law, Any other related fields

Work Experience : 5.5 years of experience in legal functions, preferably in banking industry.

Salary:  as per the Bank’s scale

Place of Work :  Addis Ababa
