Senior Accountant

Role Summary

Comprehensive financial and tax management lead specializing in import transactions and strict Ministry of Revenues (MoR) compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive full-cycle accounting, tax filings, customs duties reconciliation, financial audits, and reporting independently.
• Ensure full alignment and proactive compliance with current Ministry of Revenues rules and tax codes.
• Manage foreign exchange logistics, bank L/Cs, single-window financial documentation, and cost-of-goods calculations.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of dedicated accounting experience specifically within the commercial import sector.
• Expert knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, MoR regulations, and import-export accounting practices.
• Strong technical financial capability with zero need for operational oversight.
