We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hardworking professional to join our team.Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations under the guidance of the Finance Manager/Chief Accountant
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian accounting standards, tax laws, VAT, withholding tax, and statutory requirements
- Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Prepare production cost reports and analyse manufacturing costs
- Handle raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory accounting
- Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation with production and warehouse departments
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and government agencies as needed
- Support the implementation and strengthening of internal control systems
- Review and verify payment vouchers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Monitor working capital and flag recommendations to management
- Prepare financial reports and management dashboards for decision-making
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff
- Ensure proper implementation and use of ERP/accounting software
