Sales Supervisor

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a player-coach Sales Supervisor to personally manage end-to-end ERP and POS product sales while leading, mentoring, and supervising field sales representatives. The role bridges field sales execution with technical scoping, pricing discipline, and team performance management to drive key conversions like the Africa Insurance engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Sales Execution: Personally own and drive the ERP and POS pipelines from qualification through scoping and negotiation to signed, collectible contracts.
• Sales Leadership & Coaching: Set, communicate, and monitor representatives' KPIs, coach the team through the sales cycle, run reviews, and uphold conversion standards.
• Solution Scoping & Pricing: Gather and translate client functional requirements, coordinate with the Technology Directorate to scope solutions, lead pricing and negotiations, and protect profit margins.
• Pipeline Management & Reporting: Consolidate and report team pipeline and forecasts to the Sales Manager, maintain accurate records, and flag risks early.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in B2B product or software sales with a proven conversion record (ideally in ERP, POS, or enterprise systems), including experience leading, coaching, or supervising sellers.

Required Skills

• Technical Skills: ERP and POS functional requirements (finance, procurement, payroll, inventory, point-of-sale), CRM and pipeline tools, solution scoping, requirement gathering, and proposal preparation.
• Core Skill Tags: Sales leadership, sales analytics and performance reporting, basic knowledge of user interface communication, and professional proficiency in English and Amharic (written and spoken).
