Job Summary

The Cashier will be responsible for handling and recording credit and debit transactions, managing customer payments, maintaining accurate cash records, and supporting smooth financial operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process and accurately record all credit and debit transactions.
• Handle cash and credit payments from customers.
• Prepare daily cash reports and balance the cash register.
• Maintain accurate financial transaction records.
• Assist with sales and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Reconcile cash drawers and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

Education:

• BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field, with relevant work experience.

Experience:

• 0–1 year in accounting or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of cash registers and accounting software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High level of integrity and honesty.

Required Skills

• Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• IFRS and ERP knowledge
