Marketing Officer

Job Summary

The Marketing Officer drives market visibility, customer engagement, and sales growth for Lydetco PLC. Operating from the Addis Ababa office, the role executes marketing plans, conducts industry research, manages customer relationships, and supports promotional campaigns to advance the company's sustainable energy mission across Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing & Promotional Execution: Implement initiatives and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and promote solar energy solutions.
• Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct surveys, analyze industry trends, identify potential customer segments, and track competitor activities.
• Customer Relationship Management: Support customer acquisition, retention, and ongoing account relationship management.
• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain updated customer and market databases and prepare periodic performance reports for management.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in marketing and/or sales.
