Specific Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning and Implementation:

Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans that cover foundational skills like literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.

Instructional Delivery:

Employ a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, games, art, and outdoor activities, to engage young learners and cater to different learning styles.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

Regularly assess students' performance and progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies to ensure they are meeting learning objectives.

Classroom Management:

Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes cooperation, sharing, and respect among students.

Parent Communication:

Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child's progress, addressing any concerns, and collaborating on strategies for supporting learning at home.

Social and Emotional Development:

Help children develop essential social and emotional skills, such as self-regulation, empathy, and conflict resolution.

Health and Safety:

Ensure the health and safety of children in the classroom and during outdoor activities, implementing safety guidelines and promoting hygiene practices.

Professional Development:

About You

Diploma OR Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kotebe University or Debrebirhan Teachers college
