Junior Accountant

Job Summary

Tana Engineering Plc is seeking a qualified finance professional to join its team at the Akaki Kality office. The role involves managing general accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and supporting day-to-day financial operations in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
• Process routine financial transactions, vouchers, and journal entries.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Organize and maintain physical and digital accounting records and files.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: BA Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a TVET Diploma in Accounting.
• Experience: 0 to 1 year of professional experience (tailored for entry-level / fresh graduates).

Required Skills & Competencies

• Required Skill Tags: Accounting, adaptability, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn organizational accounting workflows.
