Human Resources Officer / Specialist

Job Summary

The Human Resources Officer / Specialist is responsible for overseeing full-cycle recruitment, managing employee records and payroll inputs, ensuring compliance with labor laws, handling employee relations, and supporting staff development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
• Manage employee records, attendance, payroll inputs, and leave administration.
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and internal company policies.
• Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Support staff development, training initiatives, and workplace safety protocols.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on HR experience, with experience in import/export or trading sectors considered a plus.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian Labor Law.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software.
