General Manager – Yekatit Paper Converting PLC

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management, Operations Management, Industrial Management, Manufacturing Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Printing Technology, Packaging Engineering, or other related fields.

A Master's Degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Experience

Minimum 13 years of progressively responsible experience in the manufacturing sector.

At least 7 years in senior leadership positions such as General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Operations Director, Plant Director, Factory Manager, or equivalent executive role.

Proven experience in managing end-to-end manufacturing operations with full P&L responsibility.

Experience in paper converting, printing, packaging, or related manufacturing industries is highly preferred.

Demonstrated success in leading business transformation, operational turnaround, productivity improvement, cost optimization, organizational restructuring, and performance improvement initiatives.

Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, production management, and business administration.

Strong financial management, budgeting, and commercial acumen.

Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems, production planning, maintenance management, and operational excellence methodologies.

Outstanding negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proven ability to lead organizational transformation and manage change effectively.
