Field Supervisors

Job Summary

CCP/Ethiopia is seeking a qualified short-term Field Supervisor for the Community Service as Pathways to Work (CSPW) Project. The role involves managing field teams, enforcing research ethics and sampling procedures, ensuring data quality through spot-checks and back-checks, and overseeing stakeholder mapping, KIIs, and youth participant surveys.

Key Deliverables

• Field implementation plan and training/debriefing records.
• Daily team progress reports, data quality logs, and back-check records.
• Respondent disposition reports and field challenge/incident logs.
• Daily data submission monitoring and final consolidated fieldwork reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate field teams to ensure smooth and efficient fieldwork operations.
• Monitor interviews, provide field support, and enforce approved sampling procedures.
• Ensure team compliance with research ethics, informed consent protocols, and data integrity standards.
• Conduct team-level quality checks, spot-checks, and plan/monitor structured back-checks.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting, solve field problems, and escalate major issues when necessary.
• Consolidate daily team progress updates and report directly to CCP/Ethiopia.
• Prepare and submit final consolidated fieldwork reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of professional field supervision experience in research or M&E projects.
