Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Engineer to join our team and support construction and project-related activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the planning, coordination, supervision, and implementation of construction projects while ensuring that work is carried out according to technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. The position involves working both in Addis Ababa and visiting project sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction and engineering activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed according to approved plans and schedules.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
• Conduct regular project site visits and monitor construction activities.
• Ensure construction work meets required quality and technical standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and report technical issues, delays, and potential project risks.
• Assist in preparing project reports, measurements, documentation, and progress updates.
• Support the effective use of construction materials, equipment, and resources.
• Ensure compliance with applicable construction standards, safety procedures, and organizational requirements.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties assigned by management.

Experience

Years of Experience: 0 and above

• Fresh graduates and experienced candidates who meet the required educational qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Education & Certifications

• Educational Requirements: BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management/COTM or a related field.
