Required skills and qualifications

Valid Ethiopian driver's license and educational with a clean driving record drives both manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely and proficiently.

Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role within the development sector or for international organizations.

Good knowledge of local road networks, traffic regulations, and safety practices in Ethiopia, especially in rural and remote areas.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact courteously and professionally with project staff and stakeholders.

Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially during field travel.

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, with the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

Flexibility and adaptability to work irregular hours and travel extensively to field locations across Ethiopia as required by project activities.

Respect for confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards in all aspects of work.

Good in English, proficiency in Amharic and other local languages is preferred.
