Bio Medical engineer

As a Bio Medical Engineer at Teklehaimanot General Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of medical equipment. This full-time position is designed for junior-level professionals with 1-3 years of experience and will primarily take place in an office setting in Addis Ababa. Your contributions will enhance the quality of healthcare services by implementing effective diagnostic and installation processes for medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine diagnostics on medical equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Install and configure new biomedical equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

Perform preventive maintenance on various medical devices to prolong their lifespan.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to medical equipment.

Collaborate with healthcare staff to understand equipment needs and provide training.

Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.

Assist in the procurement process for new biomedical equipment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding medical devices.

Participate in quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of equipment performance.

Keep abreast of technological advancements in biomedical engineering.
