Architectural Manager

The Architectural Manager leads and supervises the architectural team, managing multiple projects simultaneously from concept through delivery. The role involves reviewing and approving design documents, coordinating with engineers and contractors, monitoring project timelines, quality, and budgets, and mentoring junior design professionals.

• Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and mentor the architectural team, fostering professional development among junior architects.

• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while monitoring progress, quality, cost control, and strict deadlines.

• Design & Technical Review: Review and approve architectural drawings, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and design documents.

• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.

• Issue & Change Management: Manage design changes, resolve technical and construction detailing issues, and prepare comprehensive management update reports.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field from a recognized university. (A Master’s Degree in Architecture or Construction Management is a distinct advantage).

• Work Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and project delivery, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role working on large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, or mixed-use projects.

• Technical Expertise: Architectural engineering principles, building codes, standards, and construction practices.

• Software Proficiency: Excellent command of AutoCAD; strong proficiency in Revit/BIM is highly preferred. Familiarity with SketchUp, 3D visualization, Lumion, Enscape, or Photoshop is an added advantage.

• Core Competencies: Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, and client-management abilities. High level of professionalism and integrity under pressure.
